Tori Spelling treated her daughter Hattie to a birthday she'll likely never forget over the weekend.

The 42-year-old actress pulled out all the stops for a Disney princess themed bash and even hired a flaxen-haired Rapunzel to entertain the family and friends.

While the former Beverly Hills 90210 star didn't play dress up, she made sure the princess theme was in every little detail throughout the event in Los Angeles.

Fun-filled: Tori Spelling pulled out all the stops for her daughter Hattie's fourth birthday over the weekend with a princess-themed bash

Tori opted for a pretty floral print romper with suede ankle boots and a stylish fedora.

Although she appeared make-up free, the mother-of-four happily posed for snaps outside the venue.

Hattie and her pals got to have fun with face-painting, whacking a princess piñata, clambering on a jungle gym and snacking on tasty treats.

As she blew out the candles on her princess cake, Hattie was surrounded by her family including Tori, dad Dean, three-year-old brother Finn, and seven-year-old sister Stella.

She wore a princess-style dress with voluminous tulle skirt and satin straps while donning a sparkling tiara to complete the look.

Tori and Dean 48 have been married nine years and also share son Liam, eight, who was not pictured on Saturday.

Dean also has a 17-year-old son, Jack, from his previous marriage to Mary Jo Eustace.

On Sunday, Tori revealed that she loves to make her children's Halloween costumes.

During the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation 'A Time for Heroes' event she told E! News that she is grateful that her kids still let her make their outfits.

'Halloween is my favourite' the former Mystery Girls star said.

'We're really good at like finding stuff and getting stuff for decorating, and then it sits in bags at home. We're lucky if it makes it out on the house!' explaining that the family isn't too great at time management.

But Dean added that they can usually rally and decorate their home in 20 minute saying that the family-of-six are 'good under pressure'.
