It's back on! TOWIE's Danielle Armstrong agrees to date with James Lock... four months after snubbing his proposal

She called time on their relationship just moments before he had planned to get down on one knee.

Now after months of flirtations, Danielle Armstrong has agreed to go on a date with ex boyfriend James Lock. 

In Wednesday's episode of TOWIE, the former couple finally decided to take their friendship to the next level as they continue to rebuild their union.

Ending the show on a high, James managed to catch Danielle just in time before she headed home after his pie and mash party to ask her out.

Standing on the street outside the club, Lock thanked Danielle for coming and complimented her 'naughty' outfit.

Then going in for the kill before the moment passed, he asked: 'What about a date?'

Perhaps questioning his motives, Armstrong asked: 'A date? Like what sort of date? Like dinner? A drink?'

Yet to sort the details out in his mind, James asserted that it would be just a date to which Danielle happily accepted.

Lock then gave her a kiss on the cheek and she hopped into a taxi.

Meanwhile, Tommy Mallet advised James 'Arg' Argent to prepare himself for the worst as his relationship woes with Lydia Bright continued.

Having a heart to heart during a camping trip, Mallet said he inquired about Arg's well being: 'I know you love her but this ain't normal.'

Admitting he was finding the potential breakup difficult, Arg revealed: 'I've dealt with it before, the starting bit is always the worst bit.'

Unhappy to see his friend in such a state, Tommy continued: 'You need to switch off and just do you. You need to prepare for the worst.'

Agreeing, Arg replied: 'It's a shock to the system as I can't imagine life without her.'

Elsewhere in the show, the female cast of the show were keen to know the latest with regards to Jessica Wright and Pete Wicks.

With both admitting they like each other, Jessica revealed that the sexual tense was high but they haven't made it 'pass first base'.

While Wicks told he fears their spark will fizzle out if things continue at such a slow pace.

He said: 'As much as there's chemistry the more that it goes on the less chemistry there is.'
