'I'm more than a money making machine!': Lady Gaga reveals being overworked made her nearly quit music years ago as she addresses Yale students

Lady Gaga nearly quit music because she felt like she had become a 'money making machine.'

The 29-year-old Poker Face hitmaker and American Horror Story: Hotel actress - who was speaking at Yale University in New Haven, Connecticut on Saturday as part of the Emotion Revolution project - admitted there was a point where she felt 'overworked' but then decided to put her happiness before her career.

The blonde singer, whose real name is Stefani Germanotta, shared: 'I have had to make decisions. Okay, Stefani, Gaga, hybrid-person. Why are you unhappy? Why is it that you wanted to quit music years ago?'
