SEBASTIAN SHAKESPEARE: Photo legend snaps at 'unsophisticated' Cara

Veteran photographer Terry O’Neill, who has captured Hollywood’s most famous faces, has launched a scathing attack on today’s young fashion models, such as the ubiquitous Cara Delevingne.

‘There is no one left I would like to photograph. I don’t like the models of today,’ Terry, 77, tells me at the launch of his new book, Bond And Beyond, in Chelsea.

‘I don’t get the whole thing about Cara. I’ve met her and she’s nice, but she doesn’t have what the great models had. Jean Shrimpton was a great model; Christy Turlington, I loved.

'They were great women — women as opposed to girls. That’s the difference. You can tell the difference in how they are and how they act.

‘They have a more mature air and are more sophisticated than these young girls like Cara.’

Russell Brand and Jemima Goldsmith’s unseemly squabble with masseuse Szilvia Berki is finally at an end.

The comedian and his former squeeze were granted a restraining injunction against Hungarian-born Berki last year when she claimed she felt ‘like a prostitute’ after Goldsmith bought Brand a massage for a birthday present.

That order was made final this week when Berki, 32, was ordered by the High Court to pay £50,000 towards Brand and Goldsmith’s costs within 14 days. She later remarked: ‘Obviously I will not pay. I have no money, so it’s a joke.’

Kate's sugar-free secret

The Duchess of Cambridge’s shrinking frame — which she showed off this week, braless, in a sheer dress at the royal premiere of new Bond film Spectre — has been the subject of much whispering.

But did she inadvertently reveal the secret during a charity visit in Islington on Tuesday? As the 33-year-old exited her Range Rover, sharp-eyed fans spotted a half-eaten packet of sugar-free Werther’s Originals in the car. While low in calories, these sweets carry a warning that they have a purgative effect if eaten in large quantities.

Earlier this month, Prince William let slip: ‘I’m not allowed cakes.’ Teatime must be a very dull affair at Anmer Hall, their Norfolk home.

Beleaguered BBC Trust Chair Rona Fairhead might find the Corporation’s new credit crunch TV drama Capital uneasy viewing.

Ms Fairhead, a director on HSBC’s main board, was accused of incompetence after she failed, in her auditing role, to discover evidence that the bank’s Swiss operation had allegedly helped wealthy clients hide billions from the taxman.

Adapted from John Lanchester’s novel, Capital stars Toby Jones as a smug banker whose life is shattered when his anticipated £1 million bonus goes south due to malfeasance at his firm’s ‘Swiss subsidiary’. At least Ms Fairhead got to keep her £500,000-a-year HSBC sinecure.

Tamara's beauty tot

Little wonder Tamara Ecclestone, daughter of Formula One boss Bernie, is obsessed with her looks, given that she owns her own beauty empire in West London.

But eyebrows will surely be raised at the sight of her daughter Sophia, who, at the age of just 18 months, is already being subjected to the world of vanity.

Tamara, 31, shared this picture online yesterday of her and Sophia as they wore collagen strips,

commonly used for reducing eye bags. Earlier that day, Tamara took little Sophia to her salon, SHOW Beauty, which is described as offering 'a lifestyle statement and a window into the often untouchable world of elite elegance’.

No doubt Sophia is starting as she means to go on.

Domestic goddess Nigella Lawson, who looks refreshingly youthful despite her 55 years, is again denying she has resorted to Botox.

Yesterday, when one of her 944,000 Twitter followers candidly asked if she’d ever had the cosmetic procedure, Nigella replied: ‘No, I most certainly have not!’ before adding that she ‘wasn’t offended!’.
