EXCLUSIVE: 'We're all on our own paths': Ashley Roberts admits The Pussycat Dolls are highly unlikely to reunite and reveals she's focusing on a TV career
The Pussycat Dolls creator Robin Antin recently declared she was desperately trying to get the girl band back together, claiming all six members were on board with a reunion.
But Ashley Roberts has confessed the Don’t Cha singers – who dominated the charts from 2005 until 2009 – are highly unlikely to reunite because they’ve all moved on from their pop heyday and are focusing on individual projects.
The 34-year-old star exclusively told MailOnline that her former bandmates, including Nicole Scherzinger, aren’t pursuing a comeback, saying, ‘There’s nothing right now at the moment with us having a reunion.

Moving on: Ashley Roberts has confessed the Don’t Cha singers – who dominated the charts from 2005 until 2009 – are highly unlikely to reunite despite creator Robin Antin's recent claims
‘At this current stage, we’re all just doing our own thing. Never say never - I know the fans really want it, they’re so supportive. But I think everybody’s on their own path at the moment.’
The former I’m A Celebrity! favourite has nothing but fond memories of her days as a Doll, however, and regrets nothing about their decision to call it quits.
‘When I think back it seems like another lifetime. I think of us being on stage and killing it, I miss hearing the roar of the crowd with the girls. That’s why I got into this business because I love performing and entertaining. It’s bittersweet, but I’m grateful for my life right now.’
Ashley is still extremely close with the PCD girls, especially her best friend Kimberly Wyatt, who relocated to London with her in 2013.

Kimberly welcomed a baby daughter with husband Max Rogers last year, and Ashley insists that although she initially had reservations about how much their lives would change, motherhood has only strengthened her bond with Kimberly.
‘I’m not going to lie, when she first told me she was pregnant because we are so close I thought - life is going to be different now', she enthused.
‘But the second I saw that child I just fell in love with her. We’re not blood, but she’s my sister and it’s the first time I’ve been an auntie.
‘I’m so excited to watch her daughter Willow grow up. I look at Kim and I’m in awe; she’s a beautiful woman, so amazing and so strong and now she’s an amazing mum as well.’
Best of friends: Ashley also opened up to MailOnline about how life has changed since her BFF Kimberley Wyatt welcomed baby daughter Willow
However, the bubbly TV personality admits she isn’t ready to settle down just yet, and is concentrating on finding the right man first.
She explained: ‘It doesn’t necessarily make me want to have a family right now, but I would definitely like to have kids someday.’
‘I’ve dated both British and American guys, and I don’t know which I’ll end up with. I just haven’t found The One, whatever that means anymore… the one I’d like to procreate with!,’ she giggled.
Ashley has turned her back on music for now in order to prioritise her television career after winning over the hearts of the nation in the jungle on I'm A Celeb, where she met her Saturday Night Takeaway pals Ant and Dec.
Comedy ambitions: The blonde beauty says she would love to be offered more humorous television roles
She’s also just landed her first solo presenting gig in the US on NBC’s 1st Look, starting in January 2016.
But the Buttons hit-maker says her heart mostly lies in comedy and would love the opportunity to do more sitcoms or sketch shows after lending her talents to Keith Lemon’s recent Back To The Future tribute.
‘Music is my soul and my passion, but life has taken a little bit of a turn recently with television’, she explained. ‘I’m just riding the wave. I still love music and do writing and a few things here and there, but when I left the Dolls I started taking improv classes and it’s something I’d like to do more of.
‘It’s fun, goofy and silly, I’d like to move in that direction.’
