'I love Hermione': James Franco shows off huge Emma Watson 'tattoo' on his neck... but it's all thanks to Photoshop

She famously ran away with all of his character's supplies on This Is The End

And it seems Emma Watson stole James Franco's heart in real life after he posted a picture of himself with a 'tattoo' of the starlet on the side of his neck on Instagram on Wednesday.

He is staring at a wall in profile in the joke image, with the starlet's face sitting just underneath his right ear, while he also has a mammoth eagle inked into his chest.

The jolly Spider-Man star captioned the image: 'I love Hermione.'

James's 'ink' was created by Cheyenne Randall, who Photoshops fake tattoos onto images of celebrities.

No doubt he grew fond of the 25-year-old  Harry Potter actress after they had a hit together with 2013's apocalyptic comedy This Is The End, which made $126 million off a $32 million budget.

However the 37-year-old actor has been known to chase younger women in the past.

Last year the actor was publicly shamed after pursuing Lucy Clode, 17, after she took a selfie with him at the stage door of his Broadway production in New York.

The teenager, from Dollar in Clackmannanshire, shared the image online and a ‘flirty’ exchange followed where the star grilled her on her age, if she had a boyfriend and if he should 'rent a room'.

He later brought up the incident on 'Live with Kelly and Michael' and said that he did not expect the conversation to be shared.

'It's the way that people meet each other today, but what I've learned- I guess because I'm new to it- is you don't know who's on the other end,' he said.

'You get a feel for them, you don't know who you're talking to. I used bad judgement and I learned my lesson.'
