So it was no surprise that Solange Knowles was on hand to help celebrate the launch of a new H&M store in Sydney on Thursday night.

The always-stylish singer shared her joy at being in Australia as she exclusively told Daily Mail Australia: ‘I love it’.

The 29-year-old was effortlessly chic in a black tuxedo dress which highlighted her ample cleavage and slender legs.

Adding height to the look with caged heels, she completed her ensemble with a spiked black and white clutch.

The singer/DJ added to touch of edge to her look with red and black eyeliner while she kept her locks natural.

Style icon Solange Knowles gets her fair share of red carpet invitations, and the launch for the H&M flagship store in Sydney was no exception. Arriving at the event happy as a clam, she had timely dressed in a double-breasted suit dress from the Balmain x H&M collection and anchored the glamorous number with a pair of black cage sandals from Schutz. Way to go Solange!

The cage shoe was originally designed by Hedi Slimane for YSL in the shape of a boot, and has been a trend ever since with Beyonce and Kim Kardashian as fans.
