Beaming Nigella Lawson oozes youthful beauty while stepping out in flattering slim-fitting black jeans and leather jacket

If one finds a style they like, there's no harm in sticking to it.

And Nigella Lawson was no doubt thinking along those lines when she stepped out at the BBC Broadcasting House in London on Friday, wearing her new favourite ensemble.

The 55-year-old cookery and TV stalwart dressed her enviable hourglass curves in an all-black outfit, showing off her shapely legs in a pair of skintight skinny jeans.

She teamed the curve-hugging denim with a pair of platform heeled black boots, a simple t-shirt and her beloved waterfall-fronted leather jacket.

Although fans are used to the sexy chef in more revealing outfits, mainly body-con dresses, she has fully embraced the all-black simple separates look in recent weeks.

And it's a style that suits her, complementing her clear skin and enviably youthful looks, highlighted by her naturally beautiful smile.

As she walked through the streets of London, the busty brunette star brushed her slightly wavy mid-length locks out of her face while beaming at onlookers.

Meanwhile, the star - who became a global household name for her titillating cooking style and delectable recipes - recently admitted that she doesn't have what it takes to make it on The Great British Bake Off, and she certainly wouldn't impress Mary Berry.

'I wouldn't get on Bake Off, it's too complicated,' she told the Radio Times. 'I like baking in a homespun kind of way - if I make cookies, I don't expect them all to look the same.'

Nigella is currently in the midst of a promotional tour for her brand new book, entitled Simply Nigella: Feel Good Food, which joins up with a BBC2 programme of the same name, set to air next month.

Her website explains: 'Simply Nigella taps into the rhythms of our cooking lives, with recipes that are uncomplicated, relaxed and yet always satisfying.'

Nigella, whose love of good, tasty and sometimes decadent food won her fans across the world, recently revealed her dislike for the on-trend 'clean eating' philosophy.

The chef hit out at the notion of healthy eating as she insists it is a way for people to gain status over others.

Her wholesome approach to homely cooking illustrates why she shares her beliefs - although they will no doubt still cause controversy.

She said during an appearance on BBC Radio 4's Woman's Hour: 'I think behind the notion of "clean eating" is an implication that any other form of eating is dirty or shameful... I don’t like extremes. I think that’s the real truth.

'I think that food should not be used as a way of persecuting oneself and I think really one should look to get pleasure about what’s good rather than either think "Oh no, that’s dirty, bad or sinful" or "eating is virtuous".'

'I also don’t like people thinking their better people themselves for the way they eat. We make choices for ourselves either for our health, delight, according to our income, according to our taste buds, but I don’t think it should ever be a status symbol.”
