EXCLUSIVE: Jared Leto upsets his new neighbours as he throws mega Hollywood Hills Halloween bash at his mansion

This star may find himself getting more tricks than treats from locals in his new exclusive neighbourhood.

Jared Leto has been accused of 'wreak[ing] havoc' in the Hollywood Hills after throwing a pre-Halloween party on Friday night.

A resident of the famed Laurel Canyon area took to a neighbourhood Facebook page after the 43-year-old celebrated the spooky season at his recently acquired mansion.

The resident posted an open letter to the page, which has over 1,600 members, calling for him to reel in his guests.

The resident wrote: 'Dear Jared Leto, It's really cool that you're having a party at your compound.

'Perhaps you could educate all the people coming to you place the proper etiquette of driving uphill/downhill so as not to wreak havoc on the neighborhood at 10:30pm.

'Also, your guests should respect the residents and not park on the wrong side of the street blocking other peoples driveways. Thanks!!'

When challenged by another neighbour who felt the party was no big deal the resident claimed it was not Jared's fault but rather his Hollywood guests.

'I should be able to drive to my home and park without altercations from entitled people who do not even live in the neighbourhood.'

Another neighbour offered to go over and talk to the star about his 'etiquette'.

'Fancy Jared Leto couldn't get a shuttle service? What a d.'

But luckily for the Oscar winner not everyone was as worried.

A resident named Adam fired back: 'Um it's Friday night and Halloween. You can A-knock on the door and join B-take a Xanax and a glass of wine C- [a naughty suggestion which he later redacted]?'

A representative for the Suicide Squad star has yet to respond to requests for comment from the Dailymail.com.

While the main gripe appeared to be with the private valet, the people of the area - which has long been the playground of famous musicians - may have to get used to parties.

This is because when Jared purchased his new home in January for $5 million, he landed a perfect party pad.

The star's home is a former military base and is a staggering 53,000-square-feet with eight bedroom bedrooms and 12 bathrooms.

The historic property is a compound in every sense of the world with high hedges - that obviously are not sound proof - and even a bomb shelter stemming from its WWII hey-day.

The home has multiple kitchens and living areas, a ready-made art gallery and a large free-form pool.

The property also has a screening room and has Pharrell as a neighbour, who hopefully got an invite to prevent him from getting mad at the star too.
