One of the boys! Susan Sarandon puts on a sweet display with sons Jack and Miles as they cheer on beloved New York Rangers

She may be one of Hollywood's most glamorous 69-year-olds.

But Susan Sarandon proved she can be one of the boys when occasion calls as she enjoyed a fun evening out with her two sons - Jack Henry, 26, and Miles, 23 - at an ice hockey game in New York City on Tuesday.

The Academy Award winner put on a sweet display as the trio cheered on their beloved New York Rangers during their tie with the Washington Capitals at Madison Square Garden.

Susan, 69, struck the perfect balance between style and comfort and she didn't stray from her go-to colour theme.

She was dressed in an all-black outfit which comprised jeans, hooded jumper and leather jacket for the low-key outing with her two youngest children.

Jack and Miles showed their support to their home team as they both pulled on oversized Rangers tops over their clothes.

The trio were evidently overjoyed as they appeared very animated throughout the game.

Long-haired Miles seemingly showed his mother how to fist-pump the air - a gesture she executed with enthusiasm.

It's little wonder the family were so excited as their team managed to clinch a 5-2 win against their rivals.

Before the game commenced, Miles played the doting son and was pictured placing an affectionate arm around his Hollywood-legend parent.

Miles and Jack's father is Tim Robbins whom their mother dated from 1988 after meeting while filming Bull Durham.

They dated until 2009 after which Susan struck up a relationship with Jonathan Bricklin whom she has since broken up with.

The screen siren - who made her movie debut in 1970 hit Joe - is currently working on three films, Spark Bananny, Mothers Day and The Meddler, which are all scheduled for release in 2016.
