'Possibly the worst time ever to get flu': Candice Swanepoel shares a selfie with an oxygen mask on as she battles illness DAYS before Victoria's Secret show
She is getting set to participate in the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show for the ninth year in a row.
But an ill-timed sickness could get in the way of Candice Swanepoel rocking the runway.
The 27-year-old model took to Instagram on Thursday to share a selfie featuring her wearing an oxygen mask.

The South African beauty confirmed that she was feeling a bit under the weather as she captioned the snap: 'Possibly the worst time ever to get flu. #doctordoctor.'
The timing is definitely not preferred as the highly-anticipated runway show featuring the likes of Lily Aldridge, Alessandra Ambrosio, Shanina Shaik and Joan Smalls is set to be recorded on Tuesday.
Despite the ailment, Candice still managed to look breathtakingly beautiful as she sported minimal make-up on her face other than mascara for her long eyelashes and pink lip.
Her signature blonde locks were tucked behind her ears as she sported a black velvet top in the self-taken snapshot.

Hopefully the ill health will soon pass as the top model seems excited about the event and even has recently taken to the same picture-sharing social network to share photos from her preparations over the past few days.
A few days ago, the blonde beauty shared snap of her being fitted for one of her VS outfits.
She also posted a cheeky shot of a lace piece, which focussed on her derriere, for the milestone 20th anniversary event.
The VS show is known for being one of the sexiest events of the year and features million dollar jewelled bras and exquisite lingerie.

This year's Victoria's Secret show is returning to its native New York and will feature the brand's ten new Victoria's Secret Angels - as well-seasoned veterans such as Adriana Lima and Alessandra.
Victoria's Secret announced in April that models Kate Grigorieva, Taylor Hill, Elsa Hosk, Martha Hunt, Jac Jagaciak, Stella Maxwell, Lais Ribeiro, Sara Sampaio, Romee Strijd, and Jasmine Tookes all earned their wings.
Gigi Hadid and Kendall Jenner were also recently added to the roster, with musical acts by Selena Gomez, The Weeknd, and Ellie Goulding.
After the show is pre-recorded on November 10, it will then air in the US on December 8.
