'Ha, good luck with that!' The Voice stars weigh in castmates Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani's new relationship

Interoffice relationships are always likely to ruffle a few feathers and set some tongues wagging - even if those feathers are famous and those tongues worth millions. 

Two of Gwen Stenfani and Blake Shelton's The Voice have voted on music's newest couple's relationship.

Adam Levine made it clear no matter their relationship status, the pair are his number ones.

Third wheel: On Thursday, Adam Levine re-posted a snap of himself with Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton calling them his family and seemingly endorsing his The Voice co-stars new romance

The Maroon 5 rocker simultaneously appeared to endorse the two signer's coupling up by re-posting a snap oh himself and the new couple on Facebook late Thursday.

On the picture, which was taken last week in New York by Gwen, Adam said: 'Family. (Blake is the stepbrother).'

Delineating Blake as the step brother no doubt was to make the family statement - now Blake and Gwen are dating - a little less creepy.

Adam and Gwen had both originally posted the snap a week ago while they were in New York but Adams re-posting is significant as it comes less than 24 hours after the couple went official.

One of their co-stars may have to eat their words however, as according to TMZ, Christina Aguilera did not think Blake had a chance with their Hollaback Girl co-star.

An insider said the 39-year-old country star had told Christina a week ago that he had a 'crush' on Gwen.

Christina did not see it, reportedly saying: 'Ha, good luck with that.'

But obviously the country crooner was determined - or had already secretly hooked up with the 46-year-old blonde - as the pair are now officially an item.

According to TMZ's sources the relationship is exactly what Gwen needed and she was 'blown away' by the kindness Blake showed her after she split with husband of 13 years, Gavin Rossdale in August - a month after Blake had divorced wife Miranda Lambert.

The relationship and the kindness 'made her feel good again'.

According to the source, 50-year-old Gavin 'control freak' who talked down to Gwen to keep the upper hand in the relationship. 

The couple share three children - Kingston, 6, Zuma, 7, and Apollo, nine months - and the website claims Gwen complained Gavin 'had an issue with her parenting skills and criticized her for not being a supportive wife'.

Gavin is currently looking after the children as Gwen is currently in Nashville, Tennessee, with Blake.

The pair were seen enjoying a night out in the home of country after Blake's appearance on the CMAs on Wednesday, holding hands and looking affection.

Making each other laugh is not the only thing this pair are up to, according to People Magazine, they are also recording country duet.

An industry insider told People: 'It's amazing how good she sounds on a pretty country song. And it sure is good to hear Blake singing real country again.'

Country duets used to be something Blake and now ex-wife Miranda Lambert enjoyed during their decade long relationship.

The couple - who were married for four years and split in July - were both at the CMAs last night and found themselves the butt of jokes.

But according to People, Blake in particular accepted the jokes with good humor, laughing when the camera panned to him.

While he seemed comfortable enough to laugh, according to the magazine, neither Blake nor his ex wife interacted - despite sitting in the front row.

Blake was not in the audience when Miranda accepted her award for Female Vocalist of the Year, and thanked fans for their support as she 'needed a bright spot this year'.

But according to Us Weekly, when it comes to Gwen - who stayed away from the ceremony despite being in town - Miranda does not care.

A source told Us: 'She had her suspicions but didn’t really know it was a real thing until the announcement last night.

'But she doesn’t care. She’s divorced and he can date who he wants.' 

That announcement, was that the Voice co-stars are official with the rep confirming the relationship to the magazine.

Gwen's rep said: 'Gwen and Blake are longtime friends who have very recently started dating.'
