Messy or Nah? ‘Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood’ Casts Gay Rapper Milan Christopher, Cast Members Not Feeling Him!

Chile, Mona Scott-Young sure knows how to milk the twerking cow and have the blogs buzzing about her VH1 hit franchise.

Word on the street is that Mona has added a new cast member to her “Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood” cast line-up, and he is an openly gay rapper by the name of Milan Christopher. TMZ reports, Milan has been filming for about three weeks, but hasn’t received such a warm welcome from his fellow cast-mates.

The website reports singer Ray J, Souilja Boy, Mally Mall and Omarion have expressed their discontent in sharing the small screen with the queer rapper — (cough, cough) not because of his sexual orientation — but his lack of having little to no street credibility as a rapper.

The cast members believes the producers are using the “gay rapper” as a publicity stunt to help boost the show’s ratings for their upcoming September 7th season 2 premiere.

Milan’s storyline will involve his relationship with a fellow artist named Miles aka Sir Brock, whose ex-girlfriend is still in love with him even after finding out about his double life. So messy, yet juicy….we love it!

“This season of ‘Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood’ will explore one of the most complex relationships in franchise history. Miles, a West Coast rapper, who was raised with church values bravely faces his truth, when he realizes he’s in love with Milan, an openly gay man,” the press release reportedly reads. “The struggle becomes complicated for Miles because his best friend and childhood sweetheart, Amber, is still in love with him. The season follows Miles and Milan’s difficult and emotional journey as they deal with the stigmas often associated with intimate relationships between black men in the music industry,”
