Kate Hudson was spotted out with an unidentified male pal as she hit the Hollywood night scene on Friday.

The actress, 36, started her weekend by driving herself and her friend to the famed Chateau Marmont on the Sunset Strip.

Kate, of course, has been teasing that she's romantically involved with musician Nick Jonas but there hasn't been any official confirmation from either side.

While it's not known who her companion on Friday night was, the blonde beauty was dressed for a fun night out.

She wore cropped black skintight leggings with a pair of twoering black heels.

She added a colorful mohair jacket and carried a white purse that had the words 'blah blah' written on it in black and red.

Her friend, with whom she was clearly at ease, had on a grey t-shirt.

The mom-of-two, who was previously married to Black Crows frontman Chris Robinson andhad a long relationship with rocker Matt Bellamy, recently wrapped filming on Mother's Day, a comedy for director Garry Marshall.

And she's been making the most of being back home in LA after shooting the movie in Atlanta, Georgia.

On Thursday she helped Jessica Alba launch her Honest Beauty line of products at a celebrity party and almost stole the show, going bra-less in a very low-cut black jumpsuit.
