She may only have modelled one outfit in the 2015 runway show.

But that didn't stop Shanina Shaik from showing off her Victoria's Secret body backstage.

The 24-year-old model flashed a glimpse of her toned limbs and ample décolletage while posing in a bright pink push-up bra ahead of the annual fashion event in New York.

Fresh from her stint in the hair and makeup chair, the Australian stunner was glowing as she blew a kiss to the camera.

Yet to put on her show-stopping runway outfit she was dressed only in her underwear and signature VS robe - which is customised every year and reserved exclusively for the models.

Her glossy locks were styled in freshly coiffed waves and her makeup look was kept naturally flawless with just a hint of pink added to her eyes and cheek bones for an extra feminine touch.

Shanina - who admitted earlier in the day to feeling nervous about stepping out in lingerie - was also wearing a delicate gold angel wing necklace by Swarovski, a good luck charm of hers.

When it came time to hit the catwalk, the raven-haired beauty strapped on a pair of oversized butterfly wings for a jaw-dropping ethereal look.

Her fifth time gracing the brand's hallowed halls, she sashayed down the runway with confidence in a sexy black bodysuit with a lace trim around the bust.

Shanina was selected to feature in the show last month and has been training like a professional to prepare for the much-watched event that annually features the biggest names in modelling.

Focusing on her core, she did plenty of modified plank exercises and routines on the Pilates Reformer machine while yoga was also an integral part of her regimen.

Speaking to KIISFM's Kyle And Jackie O show from New York on Tuesday - Wednesday morning Australian time - Shanina made clear just how difficult getting runway ready can be.

'There's been a lot of preparation, obviously a lot of working out, a lot of fittings and now it's finally here,' she said.

'All of us girls have been working so hard training our bodies and working out and looking after ourselves.

'It can be really hard, it's hard our job - a lot of people think it's such a glamorous thing but it's really hard, it's a 24/7 thing.'
