Amy Schumer lists her Manhattan penthouse bachelorette pad for $2million just one year after buying it

Amy Schumer is selling her NYC bachelorette pad for $2million.

The 34-year-old will make a not-to-shabby $300,000 if she gets her asking price, having bought the Manhattan penthouse for just under $1.7million in October last year. 

She snapped up the Upper West Side property months before her $100 million blockbuster film Trainwreck was released.

Red was the colour of the night at the Glamour Women of the Year Awards and it wasn't just the carpet.

Not only did Victoria Beckham wear a scarlet gown from her Resort 2016 collection but Selena Gomez and Amy Schumer also opted for crimson at the event in New York last night. While Selena rocked Valentino, Amy went for Alexander McQueen.

The one bedroom, 1.5 bathroom pad, located one block away from Central Park, features high ceilings, a wood burning fireplace, skylight kitchen, a washer and dryer in the bathroom, private staircase to the roof terrace and a secret garden of flowers, shrubs and trees. 

According to realty website Zillow  the apartment is a full floor in a handsome 20ft wide turn-of the century townhouse that has been  has been 'meticulously designed.'

The Trainwreck star was granted the deed to the home in October last year, months before her movie went on to gross over 100 million dollars at the box office.

Schumer even purchased the pad under a secret name - A.B. Schumer - Beth is the comedian's middle name.

When the actress  spoke to BBC Radio 1's Scott Mills on his radio show earlier this year, she claimed, 'I'm like the richest person I know and I have a one-bedroom and a walk up. My bed folds up into the wall and I iron there.'

She added, 'Everyone says I'll make money on the next thing but they've been saying that for 11 years.'
