Smiling brightly, Gwen Stefani had her game face on as she was pictured in Los Angeles on Thursday.

Both she and her estranged husband Gavin Rossdale made separate outings, a day after shock claims the Bush frontman had a three year affair with the family nanny.

It was the first time Gavin, 50, had been seen since the revelations - with the father-of-three looking relaxed as he went out in Los Angeles.

Gwen had made an appearance on the results show of The Voice on Wednesday night, just hours after claims regarding her husbands' infidelity went public.

Grinning Gwen, 46, was ever the professional as she arrived at a sound studio on Thursday, while her husband was seen arriving at a similar location in another area of the city.

Gavin refused to speak about the allegations involving himself and the family nanny of eight years, Mindy Mann.

It was only on Wednesday the world learned he had been allegedly having a three year affair with the blonde Australian.

US Weekly reported Gwen was forced to confront the singer when she discovered explicit pictures and texts on their children's iPad, which was linked to his phone.

Gavin initially denied the romance, saying it was nothing more than a 'flirtation.'

But he was then allegedly forced to admit to the affair, after another nanny confirmed it was happening.

Mindy, from Australia's Gold Coast, had been caring for their three sons, Kingston, now nine, Zuma, seven, and Apollo, 20 months, since 2008.

Gwen began to also feel uncomfortable when she appeared to start to dress and look like her.

Mindy styled her hair and clothes in a similar way.

Gwen surprised many when she called time on her marriage by filing for divorce in August, and telling the public the split with her husband of 13 years was 'unexpected.'

There were also claims Gavin had left his wife, just after she had given birth, to go and have sex with Mindy.

Access Hollywood alleged the Bush rocker abandoned her after the arrival of their third son, Apollo, in February last year for the hook-up.

Despite the emotional turmoil Gwen was no doubt going through on Wednesday as the revelations became public knowledge, she was posting glamorous shots of herself on Instagram.

And on Thursday the singer, who is now dating her fellow Voice mentor Blake Shelton, kept her look simple and casual.

She wore her hair scraped back in a top knot and vivid pink lipstick, which she teamed with sunglasses.

Meanwhile her estranged husband wore black trousers and a layered red and white top.

Surprisingly he was still wearing his wedding ring on his left hand.

However a source close to the rocker told People he wants to concentrate on his boys and be the best father he can.

'It's really tough for them,, said the insider.

'Every day there's a different story. He is concerned about the kids and wants to keep them safe and is trying to keep all this craziness out of their lives and keep things as normal as possible for them.
