Ronda Rousey predicted Holly Holm's head-kick knockout on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon a month before UFC 193 loss

Ronda Rousey seems to have known exactly what Holly Holm wanted to do to her at UFC 193, but the previously peerless champion was powerless to stop the decorated striker.

Rousey, who claims her coach Edmund Traverdyan has predicted the exact outcome of several of her UFC wins, had the unfortunate fate of outlining an uncannily true to life projection of what was to come in an interview on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon.

In an interview with the TV host a month before the contest, Rousey said Holm would try and 'keep distance and keep far away from me and get me frustrated, until a point I'll make a mistake and she can try and kick me in the head, but it's not going to go like that.'

On Sunday in front of more than 56,000 fans in Melbourne Holm upset the odds, managing to largely avoid Rousey's judo and stay on the outside, before knocking out the long-running undefeated bantamweight champ with a left head kick.

And Holm showed off the exact move that would later bring about the upset during the public workout in fight week.

Throwing a right hand and following up with the left kick, Holm showed off her striking skills.

Rousey wasn't the only one to successfully predict the fight's outcome, with Holm's long-time agent and promoter Lenny Fresquez saying he made six figures by betting on the 12-1 underdog.

The former champion is yet to comment or resurface since the fight, having been unable to do an in-cage interview with UFC commentator Joe Rogan and missing the post-fight press conference when she was taken to hospital.

Rousey's gameplan for the fight has already been criticised by many people inside and outside of MMA, with British former heavyweight boxing champion Lennox Lewis saying that she 'made [a] big mistake of following a puncher and was picked apart and put away.'
