'Thank God it wasn't my bum!' Adele jokes that she 'did a Kim' and broke the internet with comeback track Hello… as new album 25 leaks online

Her latest single Hello smashed internet records when the single's video racked-up 27.7million views in one day.

And it seems that Adele's own 'break the internet' moment wasn't lost on her, as she joked that she 'did a Kim' when the video debuted online earlier this month.

Showcasing her own wry and self-deprecating humour, the 27-year-old hit maker said that if she'd replicated Kim's shoot then own derriere 'would've actually broke the internet'.

In the interview with etalk.ca, the the Rolling In The Deep singer quipped : 'I did a Kim Kardashian. Thank god it wasn't with my ass. It would've actually broke the internet if it was my bum!'

But while she was completely at ease with herself during the interview, the London-born pop star revealed that 25 was a soul-searching affair.

Coming face-to-face with her life after the birth of her first child, Angelo, three, and her almost meteoric-rise to success, the singer has made 25 firmly about herself as opposed to someone else - like 21 was.

'This record is all about myself and it's about yearning for myself, for my friends and for my childhood and stuff like that,' she explained.

Elaborating on that theme, she divulged the fears that spurred her into creativity, saying: 'It's a bit frightening, I'm only ever going to be an adult now. I'm not going to be a kid again.'

But while 21 was a heart-wrenching affair, Adele insisted that 25 is the hardest record she's worked on, as she juggled commitments to partner Simon Konecki and their son with making a stellar LP.

She explained: 'I never had anything to balance before. It was only me before, and then all of a sudden I became a mum and all my attention is on my kid and stuff like that.'

But as she prepared to release her first album in five years, it appears that 25 has been leaked online.

As the album, according to The Sun, was leaked online in a stream by a record store.

Putting up a two-minute tease of the 11 track album on its, Juno Records - a store in London - released Adele's closely guarded album to the world; ruining a carefully crafted launch that had been painstakingly planned by the singer's team.

While the stream was quickly taken down, fans were left divided over the leak, with some excited about the streams content and others lamenting the fact the surprise on Friday had been ruined.
