Swinging! Fargo star Kirsten Dunst arrives in chic '60s-style dress at Literary Awards Festival

We've seen her rock some pretty old-school wardrobe as Marie Antoinette.

And on Monday night Kirsten Dunst once again took it back - but not that far back - as she nailed a chic '60s style dress on the red carpet. 

The 33-year-old Fargo star arrived at the PEN Center USA's 25th Annual Literary Awards Festival in Beverly Hills flashing her fab pins in the short frock.

The retro ensemble was buttoned right up to her throat while the her arms too remained hidden beneath the full length sleeves. 

The actress was on hand to see Francis Ford Coppola pick up his lifetime achievement award at the event which was hosted by 24 star Mary Lynn Rajskub.

The literary arts and human rights organization handed out as ton of awards on the night, with presenters including James Franco and Jared Leto.

Leto presened the First Amendment Award to John Kiriakou, the first CIA officer and whistleblower to confirm the torture of detainees using waterboarding, who was then indicted under the Espionage Act and sentenced to 30 months in federal prison.

The Suicide Squad star was a student of Kiriakou's at the Emerson Preparatory School in Washington, D.C. when he taught American History and Government.

This week, Kirsten opened up to Net-a-Porter about how she no longer feels insecure when she's not working.

'When I was younger, I actually felt anxious when I wasn't working. Then there was a moment where I was kind of sick of [acting],' she said. 'But then it shifted for me and I re-loved it in a different way.'

She added that she would rather just take time off than act in any old rubbish - which is unfortunately what's on offer most of the time. 

'Most things are crap and it's not like I get all the best roles,' she said. 'So you just have to wait.'
