Comfort was clearly not at the forefront of Kylie Jenner's mind when she picked out her wardrobe for a trip Down Under.

The teen reality star arrived at the airport in Los Angeles on Sunday night wearing tight leather pants and a cropped top that bared her midriff for the 14-hour flight to Australia.

The 18-year-old put fashion at the top of her list adding pointed-toe pumps and a loose lilac jacket.

Even though it was dark, Kylie kept her sunglasses on and carried a designer tote as she walked to the departure area.

The skintight outfit is in line with her current penchant for cleavage-baring and risque looks, as she embraces a more sexy look after turning 18.

She's also reverted to her natural dark hair coloring and wore the long locks loose and cascading in tousled waves over her shoulders.

Kylie's choice of outfit contrasted with that of her older sister Kendall, 19, who is with her on the trip Down Under.

The model went all out for upscale glam in flared pants and matching top with a cowl neck and a long flowing coat in the same color.

Kendall wore her long hair tied back into a simple pony tail and wore steel-capped flat shoes instead of heels.

The sisters are headed to Australia for the launch of their Kendall + Kylie collection for retailer Forever New.

They will make appearances at Sydney's Westfield Parramatta on November 17, the day their range goes on sale, and at Chadstone Fashion Capital in Melbourne the following day.

The 19-piece range of black, white and peach colours with a statement nude and black print, includes dresses, jumpsuits, skirt, tops and two-piece ensembles.
