'My boobs were butchered': Vanderpump Rules star Stassi Schroeder reveals she's recovering from difficult breast lift and reduction 

Stassi Schroeder is recovering after undergoing a breast lift and reduction on Wednesday.

The next day, the 27-year-old posted a photo with her best friend, Sheena Mannina, on Instagram, thanking her for coming to Los Angeles from New Orleans to help her with her recovery.

The Vanderpump Rules star wrote: 'Thank you for coming to L.A to nurse me back to health after my boobs were butchered. I love you my little health guru guardian angel best friend #thebreastliftstruggleisreal.'

On her Straight Up With Stassi podcast on Thursday, one day after her surgery, she gave an update: 'I got my boob reduction/lift and I'm on medication. I've also had some wine/margaritas.' 

According to the All About the Real Housewives blog, the reality star announced her plastic surgery plans on her podcast earlier this month.

In an early November podcast, she said: 'I have exciting news...I'm getting a breast reduction in two weeks. Breast reduction/lift. It's done, I paid for it and everything. No turning back.'

The blonde explained why she wanted to go under the knife: 'Cause they're too big. It's back pain, and I started bleeding the other day when I was working out because of my sports bra, so I have scabs.'

The Bravo TV star added: 'It's too uncomfortable and they are so saggy, they look like two tube socks with change in them.'

The New Orleans native went down to a size D, admitting that: 'I still want boobs. I don't want to have an identity crisis. I feel like if I took too much out I might not feel like myself. I want to continue to have boobs,' she said on her podcast.

On Sunday, Stassi attended the Save A Child's Heart Gala in Culver City, wearing a strapless black dress and mary jane heels, calling it 'a beautiful foundation' on her Instagram.

She wore her long blonde hair down, opting for peach lips and subtle smokey eyes.

The Louisiana-born TV personality revealed in her podcast that she thought about waiting to have the procedure after kids, but decided she didn't want to hold off.

She said: 'I thought about waiting, but then I thought what if I don't have kids for ten years. I'm going to spend the hottest years of my life with saggy t***. I'm already past my prime.'

The blogger, who has been open about having Botox as well as a chin implant, posted a make-up free selfie two weeks ago, showing her Psoriasis patches on her face.

Stassi opened up about her skin disorder, writing in the caption: 'Having one of those days where Psoriasis is taking over my life. So many of you ask what makeup I use because it "looks" like I have flawless skin. I don't.'

Adding: 'And these patches are an effing b**** to cover up and make me feel ugly all the time. so here ya go, a no make up selfie. Feel beautiful today, girls. We all have our issues.'
