That was quick! Sara Foster wows as she steps out just a week after giving birth to a baby girl to celebrate pal's new jewellery range

For most new moms the thought of hitting the party scene with a newborn at home is probably more of a nightmare.

But when it comes to celebrating her bestie's big night, Sara Foster makes an exception.

A week to the day since she welcome her daughter into the world, the 34-year-old was spotted enjoying a night out at the Barneys New York XO Jennifer Meyer party in Los Angeles, California, on Wednesday night.

While no doubt getting some sleep may have been her first choice, the Barely Famous star was obviously determined to attend the private dinner party as it was to celebrate her jewellery designer best friend, Jennifer Meyer's new collaboration.

And if she was tired she certainly was not showing it, looking stunning and glowing - literally.

The new mom wore a very naturally dewy makeup look and wore her blonde locks out.

Obviously her husband tennis ace Tommy Haas was at home looking after their bundle of joy and older daughter Valentina, 5.

While they have not officially revealed their new daughter's name, the Dailymail.com understands it is Josie.

Impress in Comme de Garcons like Gwen Stefani

Gwen Stefani has been in the press lately for her marriage problems and divorce, but the singer seemed to be in great shape when making an appearance for the Jennifer Meyer and Barneys' clothing line launch. Wearing one of her favorite designer combos, the peroxide blonde rocked a pair of distressed jeans with a textured sleeve biker jacket from Comme de Garcons by Noir Kei Ninomiya.

Shift the focus to your sleeves this season, as a biker jacket will get you far but quilted or studded sleeves always add that cool, edgy touch to your look. Adding weight to your shoulders all of the sudden became a positive thing!

Gwen’s dreamy version from Comme de Garcons is available in a limited number at Farfetch, so grab it and you’ll soon find yourself front row at the next fashion week. For budget-friendly options, skim through our high street options below!

Sara was joined at the star-studded Barney's event by her sister Erin Foster as well Gwen Stefani, Kris Jenner and her boyfriend Corey Gamble, and Jennifer Aniston.

When Erin's husband announced they had a new daughter last week, he very sweetly celebrated being the only male in the house.

The 37-year-old posted a sweet snap of his wife breast feeding their newest addition with now big sister Valentina - who turned five on Sunday.

The tennis ace wrote: 'Totally outnumbered and couldn't be happier #11-11-15.'

Their little girl had been born with lots of luck on her side with the birthday the 11th of the 11th, which is considered a lucky number.

Just a day after their new baby arrived, the little girl's famous 'aunties' which includes Kate Hudson, Erin, Jennifer Meyer and Jessica Alba, all arrived to check in on mom and bub.
