Jennifer Lawrence vamps things up in a racy lace bralet and plunging sheer gown at The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 2 premiere in NY

Jennifer Lawrence owes a large part of her fame to Katniss, the plucky protagonist she plays once again in The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 2.

The 25-year-old actress played up her vampy side as she attended the film's star-studded red carpet premiere in New York City on Wednesday.

Jennifer wasn't shy about showing skin in a black Schiaparelli Haute Couture gown that might have been inspired by beautiful lingerie with it's sheer and fine fabric, lacy bralet and flowing long skirt.

Her toned stomach captured almost as much attention as her recently acquired platinum blonde bob, which framed her fair-skinned face to the chin.

Dark red lipstick added an aura of mystery as did the heavily lined eyes and hints of rouge at her cheeks.

Delicate necklaces of alternating lengths adorned her décolletage that was played up by the skimpy black, lace-edged undergarment that she wore.

Break the laws of fashion with a sheer gown like Jennifer's

We wouldn't necessarily say that Jennifer's breaking the law but she's redefining it everyday. Which is why we're sad to see this promotional tour for Mockingjay 2 come to a close.

This world wide tour brought us some stunning looks from Dior, Ralph Lauren, and Mugler but she certainly saved the best for last with this stunning Schiaparelli gown.

The sheer plunging neck came to a refined finish with a soft chiffon pleated skirt that cascaded to the floor with ease. We love the statement cuffs and for modesty, Jennifer wore a bralet up top.

Perfect, perfect perfect!

Sadly her gown is a made to measure number, which explains its impeccable fit. But that dosn't mean we can't get something similar for ourselves!
