She's a doting mother to her own two sons and a loving step-mum to her boyfriend's lad.

And Liv Tyler proved it on Friday by posting an adorable snap of the threesome on Instagram on Friday. This is the first time she has shown all three together.

The image shows her 11-year-old son, Milo, holding his eight-month-old half-brother, Sailor, on his lap while her fiancé David Gardner's eight-year-old, Gray, gently kissed the tot's forehead.

The Lord Of The Rings star captioned the beautiful family picture, simply: 'Boys boys boys!!!!! milo, sailor, gray' and added three heart emojis.

Milo is the 38-year-old actress's son with her ex-husband, Royston Langdon, from rock band Spacehog.

She shares Sailor with David, a sports agent who counts David Beckham as a close friend. In fact the former soccer star is the tot's godfather.
