Priscilla Presley reveals late husband Elvis urged her to darken her tresses in a bid to make them look alike as she talks candidly about their marriage

She met Elvis at the tender age of 14 before marrying him eight years later.

And Priscilla Presley was feeling candid about one of the world's most famous marriages as she appeared on ITV chat show This Morning on Friday.

The 70-year-old actress told hosts Eamonn Holmes and Ruth Langsford that her music legend former husband liked her to dye her black so that the duo would look alike.

On the subject of her hair colour, Priscilla revealed that her former husband would persuade her to dye her locks to a raven shade to match his famous jet black quiff.

She said: 'He did want me to dye my hair black when I was young so we could lookalike a little bit.' 

Priscilla's revelation was in response to host Eamonn, who drew comparisons between her current looks and Elvis' when he was younger. 

The TV host said: 'Well here's the other thing I want to say to you it is absolutely spooky to me, you actually look like him. 

'You look to me the way he looked when he was younger... I think you so look like him especially when he was younger.'

Priscilla, who shares a daughter, Lisa Marie with Elvis, looked sensational as she sat on the couch for a catch-up while flaunting her age-defying figure and complexion.

Her fiery ombre locks featured redder roots, which cascaded into darker waves at the base. 

She put on a stunning display in a sheer black shirt with a pretty blue floral print while she protected her modesty with a spaghetti strap vest underneath.

The iconic star, who is set to play the Genie in the Lamp in a Milton Keynes-based production of Aladdin next month, wore chic black trousers and elegant pointed boots which perfectly showed off her incredible figure.

Priscilla was showing some of Elvis' personal belongings on the show including his wallet and credit card as they are currently on display at a London exhibition.

On the subject of allowing the items to be displayed, Priscilla said: 'I've come to terms with it pretty much now. In the earlier years it was hard to let go you held [the items] close to yourself, many, many things.

'Things like this people enjoy seeing and people come to the exhibit and look at things for hours and they come back again, some people say they've come back ten times and they've missed things they haven't seen.'
