She's just reached the end of a grueling Hunger Games promotional tour for Mockingjay Part 2.

And Jennifer Lawrence made the most of not having to glam-up for television or a red-carpet as she stepped out make-up free in NYC on Friday.

The 25-year-old actress wrapped up against the chilly Manhattan weather and covered her head with a slouchy grey wool hat.

She covered her eyes in dark glasses as she showed off her flawless complexion - no doubt glad of a rest from hours in the make-up chair over past weeks.

The natural beauty looked more tired than usual, but that's not surprising after she revealed yesterday that she only managed one night of sleep - aboard an aircraft - as she has jetted from China, to Spain, Germany, London and repeatedly coast to coast in the U.S.

And after weeks with perfect tresses and bespoke designer dresses, it's refreshing to see the down-to-earth star likes to chill in her baggies as much as the rest of us.

The link was uncovered by the research team at Ancestry, after looking into the family lineage of both stars.

'The discovery of the connection between Jennifer Lawrence and Jeremy Renner was complete happenstance,' Michelle Ercanbrack, a family historian at Ancestry, told People.

She explained to the publication that researchers had started by looking for a connection between the Hunger Games cast members - in particular between Jen and Josh who both have their roots in Kentucky - and only stumbled upon the family link to Renner.

The ancestry expert told them: 'Later, we were researching Jeremy Renner and noticed he had a Tague family line from Kentucky, which looked familiar.

'Once we realized Jennifer Lawrence had the same family in her tree, finding the relationship between the two was not only quick, it was really close,' she concluded.
