Poster girl: Angelina Jolie graces heavyweight current affairs bible Newsweek...with movie star pose

If you pick up a copy of Newsweek, you're likely to be confronted with an image of President Obama or Hilary Clinton on the front cover.

It's a serious news publication, and features sober shots of suited politicians or illustrations of gritty feature stories.

But fresh off the heels of her much talked about 60 Minutes interview, Angelina Jolie is appearing on the cover, and in the most glamorous pose the 78-year-old publication has ever witnessed.

In her 60 Minutes interview on Sunday, Jolie revealed that she plans to do another war film focusing on Afghanistan.

In the Land of Blood and Honey opens December 23 and Jolie's Newsweek cover hits newsstands Monday.

Speaking about her latest film in an interview with Christiane Amanpour this week she said: 'I was thinking and meditating on these international themes of violence against women, lack of intervention and how human beings are changed and warped by war and how some people come out stronger and some people are truly broken.'

The film has been the subject of controversy since its inception, and even that is now being called into question.

A Croatian journalist is accusing the stunner of stealing the story behind her directorial debut, In the Land of Blood and Honey.

In legal documents obtained by RadarOnline, James J. Braddock claims that an article he wrote and published in 2007 is the basis for the film, which the mother of six wrote and directed.

Braddock gives examples of the similarities between his work and Jolie's film in the lawsuit.

The lawsuit states that: 'The Subject Work’s main female character is subject to continuous abuse and rape by soldiers and officers in the camp.'

'In addition to being raped continuously by soldiers and officers, she is forced to become a servant at the camp headquarters, a duty assumed by very few of the captives.'

The outraged author and journalist is demanding that a court awards him damages.

'The Motion Picture’s main female character is also subject to continuous rape by soldiers and officers in the camp and subsequently becomes a servant at camp headquarters.'

The drama revolves around a Muslim woman named Aija who falls in love with Serbian Daniijel.

In the unlikely love story, which opens in American theatres on December 23, Daniijel inadvertently becomes Aija's jailer when the Bosnians are captured by the Serbs.

Braddock isn't the only person taking legal action against the United Nations' Goodwill Ambassador.

The brunette beauty and partner Brad Pitt are also being sued by a former nanny.

They allegedly fired 45-year-old Ana Charlotiaux for allegedly taking too much sick leave.

She worked on the couple's French estate, Chateau Miraval, from 2008-2010 and is demanding fair compensation for dismissal.
