With a show business career that spans over five decades, a holiday vacation was well-deserved for Goldie Hawn, who turns 70 on Saturday.

The ageless beauty and her 36-year-old daughter, Kate Hudson headed off on Thursday for a relaxing girls trip.

Blonde tresses strolled through the airport as the mother-daughter duo made their way about the busy terminal.

Kate Hudson looked liked she was channeling her inner hippie chic at LAX airport. The blondie donned flare jeans, a tribal coat, a graphic gray tee and some gorgeous orange mirrored KREWE shades.

Hawn continued, 'Basically, once you've done it once, you've done it twice and you realize that marriage, or the act of marrying, has nothing to do with the success.'

'The wake-up call every day is, "Do I want to be with this man? Do I want to be in this relationship? Am I willing to give something? How can it flourish and do I want to be there?"

'So the idea is do we want to be there, or do we not want to be there? Any marriage, any ceremony, any ring will not define that truth.'
