Lee Haskins awarded IBF bantamweight title after Randy Caballero fails to make weight

Lee Haskins is now the new IBF world bantamweight champion after his opponent in Las Vegas, Randy Caballero, failed to make the weight for their showdown on Saturday night. The 31-year-old successfully made weight and came in half-a-pound under 118lb limit but Caballero was nowhere near. The 25-year-old, who was five-and-a-half pounds over the required amount, was stripped of the belt and Haskins was handed the world title after rejecting the opportunity to fight the American in a catch-weight contest.
