She's always had a knack for comedies and currently stars in the Netflix original series Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt.

Jane Krakowski displayed a prowess for chic and unique evening wear as well as she attended the American Museum Of Natural History Museum Gala in New York City on Thursday.

The 47-year-old actress wore a dark, multi-coloured gown of blue, black and red featuring a tight bodice, off-the-shoulder sleeves and a trumpet mermaid skirt.

Jane posed with hands on hips, showing off her trim waistline and crimson nails that matched her lip gloss and complimented her blue eye shadow.

She wore her pale blonde hair in a no-fuss style with one side swept back and secured by a comb.

The museum gala was hosted by Seth Meyers and the place to be with cocktails, dinner, auction and a special performance by Michael Bublé.

The evening's host Seth Meyers looked handsome in a deep blue suit as he arrived with his wife of two years Alexi Ashe.
