Cody Simpson's mother Angie reveals she DID sign up for Real Housewives of Beverly Hills but was forced to quit after her working visa was declined

Back in July Cody Simpson denied his mother Angie had signed up for Real Housewives of Beverly Hills which also stars his ex Gigi Hadid's mother Yolanda Foster.

But on Friday Angie revealed that she did in fact commit to appear in the television series earlier this year, but was forced to quit after US immigration services denied her a working visa.

'Yes I started filming on the RHOBH this season,' she confessed on social media alongside two images of herself filming different scenes with the show's regulars.

'But due to my USA working visa being declined by immigration I had to pull out of the show and the rest of the season,' the mother of singers Cody and Alli explained.

Angie added she is still working in line with the government service to try and 'stay' in the country while her two teenage children continue to follow their musical career paths.

'I am currently still working hard with US immigration four months later...I'm trying to get it approved and to be able to work for myself and be able to stay with my children here in the USA,' she continued.

Being forced to suddenly leave the popular television series left the mother-of-three heartbroken, as she said she had 'worked so hard to get the job'.

She explained to her 130,000 Instagram followers that she was 'excited to bring a cool aspect to the show of a chill Aussie Mum'.

In clips released by Bravo, Angie was spotted sitting at a large dining table taking part in conversation with Yolanda. 

In July Cody told Extra that he had 'heard a rumour' about his mum joining the show alongside his ex-girlfriend Gigi's mother.

Earlier that month an insider told NW magazine that the Gold Coast mother would be joining the show as a 'new housewife' reportedly replacing Brandi Glanville who was fired from the series.

Angie packed up her Queensland beachside life in 2010 to relocate to Los Angeles to help support her son's growing music career and has since been living the high life of red carpet events and celebrity parties.
