It will be the Rossdale boys first holiday since their parents have split but looks like their mom's new man is determined to make it a family time - even if it is not with their dad.

According to US Weekly Blake Shelton has invited Gwen Stefani and sons Kingston, nine and Zuma, seven, and Apollo, 21 months, to spend Thanksgiving with him.

Sources have revealed that the country corner invited the singer and her boys to his Oklahoma ranch, which has always been his favourite spot to have family holidays.

It is not known yet if the 46-year-old Holla Back singer has taken up Blake's offer to spend the holiday at his beloved 1200-acre ranch outside Tishomingo.

Gwen has already had a chance to see the 39-year-old's home state, having gone for a quick visit last month right before they confirmed they were dating.

Blake told Country Weekly in 2008, that he bought the home - which he purchased prior to his previous marriage - as it was a great place for family.

'This kinda turned into the place where all the family holidays happen. That’s what attracted me to this particular place.

'It was built as a hunting lodge; it was built to tear it up. That’s why it’s got concrete floors. I’m gonna walk in with muddy boots, go from the front door to the refrigerator and get a beer and back out.'

As their relationship is new - Gwen only announced she and Gavin Rossdale were splitting in August and Blake and Miranda Lambert's divorce went through the month prior - Gwen no doubt has a lot to think about when it comes to involving her boys.

However, the star is taking a very different approach when it comes to showing off her new relationship in public.

According to Us Weekly, the singer is enjoying so much attention being on her and Blake as a way to get back at Gavin.

The 50-year-old frontman - whom she was married to for 13 years - reportedly had an affair with their younger nanny Mindy Mann.

While no one involved has made a comment publicly about the cheating allegations, according to an insider Gwen is allowing her new happiness be her revenge.

The source told Us Weekly: 'After everything Gavin has done, she hopes he sees what he’s missing.

'She’s moved on with somebody better who is really good to her. Her being happy is the best revenge. And she deserves it.'

Gwen has spoken about her heartbreak at the collapse of her 13 year union recently.

She told radio program The Tommy Show there was a lot of 'bad things' about splitting up.

She said: 'There’s so many bad things… Oh my god. I can’t even believe it, but at the same time there are lots of good things and I do get to have a second chance, and I have a lot of joy right now, I really do.

She said her feelings are still mixed: 'I wish it didn’t happen, I wish that all of this wasn’t happening but at the same time, I feel like it was part of my life journey.

'In my life I’ve had two really bad heartbreaks and I’ve written some incredible music out of it and I feel so lucky to have that and to be able to share it.

'I feel like it’s part of what I contribute to the world and I feel really proud of that. There’s always good things that come out of bad things.'
