Jennifer Hudson rocked thigh-high leather boots to promote her Broadway debut in The Color Purple at the Intercontinental Hotel in Manhattan Friday.
Stylist Eric Archibald dressed the 34-year-old Oscar winner in tiny pleated shorts and an ultra-sheer white blouse.
Previews began last week for the pared-down musical revival featuring the Dreamgirls star as Georgia juke joint singer Shug Avery.

'I just love the energy that the people bring, just to see the love for theatre and live music, and seeing it being appreciated it drives me. I just love it,' Hudson told Broadway.com at the photo call.
The uplifting, timeless tale was adapted from the Pulitzer Prize-winning 1982 novel by Alice Walker, which was also made into a 1985 Steven Spielberg film.
Joining Jennifer were West End thespian Cynthia Erivo - who stars as Celie - and Orange Is the New Black's Danielle Brooks, who plays the feisty Sofia.
