Bale takes frustrations out on Wales captain Ramsey after Arsenal's dark day

By Sportsmail Reporter

Gareth Bale was relieved to see Wales captain Aaron Ramsey report for international duty at Celtic Manor Hotel after Arsenal's 8-2 thumping by Manchester United.

But it was an entirely selfish reason as defender Danny Gabbidon explained: 'Gareth was quite happy with the result. He said it took the pressure off Spurs (who lost 5-1 at home to Manchester City) as Arsenal suffered a heavier defeat.'

Wales, who are without a point after four matches in Euro 2010 qualifying Group G, play second-placed Montenegro in Cardiff on Friday.
