Not your average turkey: A new video series teaches viewers how to cook your favorite Thanksgiving dishes - using marijuana as a main ingredient
How high: The videos are a part of Cut.com's Baked series, and these cannabis-infused recipes will surely add a kick to your traditional Thanksgiving dinner
TURKEY
In order to bake a marijuana-infused turkey, you must first create your own cannabutter using two sticks or one cup of unsalted butter, 1/4 ounce ground weed and 1/2 cup water.
Start by bringing the water and butter to a simmer in a saucepan on low to medium head. When the butter begins to melt, it is time to add in ground marijuana.
Keeping the heat on low, allow the mixture to simmer for two to three hours while stirring occasionally and making sure the liquid never starts to boil.
After you are done simmering the mixture, pour the heated butter and water into a glass jar, using a cheesecloth to strain out the marijuana. Make sure to thoroughly squeeze the weed caught by the cheesecloth in order to get as much liquid out of it as possible.
Added flavor: In order to bake a marijuana-infused turkey, you must first create your own cannabutter by heating butter, weed and water (pictured)
Next steps: After straining the weed and butter mixture using a cheesecloth (left), refrigerate it until the butter hardens. Separate it from the water and transfer it to a different container (right)
At this point, the marijuana has done its job, and you can throw it out. Meanwhile, you need to cover and refrigerate the liquid overnight - or at least until the butter is hardened. When it is full hardened, the butter will separate from the water and you will be able to remove the cannabutter and put it in a separate container.
Only after completing these steps are you able to begin cooking your cannabis marinated turkey. For the special marijuana-infused marinade, combine 1/4 ounce weed, three tablespoons cannabutter, 2/3 cup chicken stock, 1/3 cup maple syrup, three tablespoons lemon juice, three diced cloves of garlic in a saucepan, adding salt and pepper, before simmering on low for 15 minutes.
Allow the liquid to cool while you rub the turkey with 1/2 cannabutter, salt, and pepper. Then inject the marinade into the turkey in equal amounts.
Perfectly prepared: Rub your cannabutter on your turkey before sprinkling it with salt
Basting time: Create a marijuana-infused marinade using weed, cannabutter, chicken stock, maple syrup, lemon juice and garlic. Simmer the ingredients in a saucepan, add salt and pepper, and inject it into your turkey
After pre-heating the oven to 450 degrees Fahrenheit, pour two cups of broth or water into the roasting pan, place the turkey in the oven and lower the heat to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
You should remove the turkey from the oven and baste it with the remaining marinade every 45 minutes until it is cooked.
'The rule of thumb for cooking a turkey is 13 minutes per pound,' reads the Cut.com's directions. 'Our 12lb turkey took about three hours to cook. It’s done when the temperature measures 180 degree Fahrenheit in the thigh and 165 degree Fahrenheit in the breast.
Genius idea? You can turn ordinary bread stuffing into a delicious weed-infused meal
Fine dining: In order to create the unique stuffing, begin by making your own weed oil by simmering marijuana and olive oil on medium heat for three hours
STUFFING
Thanksgiving turkey is nothing without stuffing, and another Cut.com video shows viewers how to create a seemingly delicious breaded mixture with a hint of weed oil.
Similar to how you would create cannabutter, the clip instructs you to combine 1/4 ounce marijuana and one cup of olive oil to a saucepan and cook on low to medium heat for three hours.
Once again, you use a cheesecloth to strain out all the ground cannabis from the infused olive oil. Make sure to squeeze the cheesecloth to ensure that you have extracted all of the oil from the weed before you toss it.

Coming together: Saute onion and garlic in the weed olive oil before adding chopped celery, pairs, dried fruit roasted pistachios and bread stuffing (left). Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish and cook (right)
After chopping one onion and dicing two cloves of garlic, add it to the weed olive oil. Cook the onion and garlic until the are soft before adding two stalks of shopped celery, one chopped pear, 1/2 cup of dried fruit, 1/2 roasted pistachios, and one package of cubed bread stuffing.
You also need to add one bunch of chopped thyme and one bunch of shopped sage before pouring in one quart of chicken stock. Stir the mixture thoroughly and pour it into a greased baking dish. If you really want give your stuffing an extra kick, grease the pan using your homemade cannabutter.

GREEN BEAN CASSEROLE
Green bean casserole is a beloved Thanksgiving side, but thanks to Cut.com, this recipe is getting even greener. In order to turn this ordinary dish into a marijuana-infused side, you must first make your own cannamilk and 'weed bacon fat'.
For the cannamilk, heat two cups and one extra tablespoon of milk in a saucepan on low to medium heat while making sure that is never comes to a boil. Add 1/4 ounce of ground weed to the heated milk and simmer for one to two hours while stirring occasionally and once again making sure that the liquid never boils.
Using your trusty cheesecloth as a strainer, pour the milk into a glass container, cover, and allow it to cool in the refrigerator.

Double dose: Make cannamilk by simmering milk and weed for one to two hours before straining (left). Whisk the milk with a mixture featuring butter, flour, cheese and half-and-half to create a roux (right)
Cut.com notes that you will only need one cup of cannamilk in the green been casserole, so you can use the other cup to make mashed potatoes or another side dish that requires milk. Essentially, this cannamilk is the gift that keeps on giving.
Making the weed-infused bacon fat is a similar process that requires you to cook two to three pounds of thick cut bacon on a skillet over medium heat until it is crispy. Remove the bacon, but keep the grease in the pan. Then add 1/4 ounce of ground weed and good for at least 20 minutes.
'The longer you simmer, the more potent the extraction will be,' reads Cut.com's instructions.
After simmering the marijuana and fat for as long as you deem necessary, use a cheesecloth to strain out the ground weed as you pour the bacon fat into a class jar. Once you ditch the remaining cannabis, get ready to make your casserole.
Almost ready: Combine the mushrooms, onions, and the roux before adding trimmed and blanched green beans
Final touches: Top the casserole with French fried onions and bake until the liquid bubbles
Pour the bacon-weed grease into a skillet and add 1/2 cup chopped onion and one cup of chopped crimini mushrooms.
Cut.com warns that you should cook the mixture on low, so you don't destroy the THC, the chemical responsible for most of marijuana's psychological effects.
Once the onions and mushrooms are soft, add two cloves of diced garlic and cook for another five minutes. Pour the mixture into a bowl and set aside until you need it.
Now you need to make a roux, which is flour and fat cooked together, typically used to thicken sauces. This is wear your cannamilk comes in. Melt two tablespoons of cannabutter, or regular butter, in a pan and whisk in two tablespoons of all-purpose flour.

Giving it a kick: Add ground marijuana to a bottle of whiskey (pictured) and shake. Store for 48 hours or longer, and shake every day
Whisk for two minutes while gradually stirring in one cup of cannamilk, and later a 1/2 cup of half-and-half. Finally, add a 1/2 cup of shredded cheddar cheese and stir until it is melted.
Pour the onions, mushrooms, and garlic, as well as three chopped slices of cooked bacon, that you put to the side back into the skillet with the cheesy sauce, Stir, simmer for a few more minutes, and add salt and pepper to taste.
After removing the pan from the heat, stir in 3 1/2 cups of trimmed and blanched green beans before transferring the mixture to a greased casserole dish and top with 1/2 cup of French friend onions.
Bake the casserole for 20 minutes at 375 degrees Fahrenheit or until the sauce begins bubbling around the edges.
Sweet treat: Combine one pound of cranberries, sugar, freshly-squeezed orange juice, and cinnamon and cook over medium heat until the cranberries begin to break down
Tart dessert: Finally, add the weed-infused whisky and removed the cranberries from the heat
CRANBERRY SAUCE
Before making your own homemade cannabis-flavored cranberry sauce, you must first make weed-infused whiskey.
Begin by pouring a 750 milliliters of whiskey into a sealable jar and add 1/4 ounce of ground weed. Shake the bottle and let it sit in a dark area, away from sunlight, for 48 hours or long.
'Shake it up at least once a day until it has reached your desired potency - up to one month if possible. The longer it sits, the more potent it will be,' reads Cut.com's instructions.
When you are ready to extract the cannabis from the liquid, pour the whiskey into a glass container and use a cheesecloth to strain out the ground weed. Now it is time to make your cranberry sauce, which is a fairly simply recipe.
Add one pound of cranberries, 1 1/2 cups sugar, one cup of fresh-squeezed orange juice, and one tablespoon of cinnamon and cook over medium heat until the cranberries begin to break down. Finally, add 1/4 cup of the weed-infused whisky, remove from heat, and stir until it is fully combined.
