'Playing it fast & loose': Olivia Munn chides reporter after being called possible 'off-field issue' for struggling beau Aaron Rodgers

Olivia Munn took to Twitter on Thursday after an article about the recent on-field struggles of her football player boyfriend Aaron Rodgers listed her as a possible reason.

The 35-year-old actress fired back at ESPN staff writer Rob Demovsky following his article on Thursday titled: 'Five reasons why Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers is struggling'.

The first four reasons cited a pre-season injury to top receiver Jordy Nelson, the drying up of early-season defensive errors, a coaching change at playcaller and 31-year-old Rodgers coping with injury.

The fifth reason was sub-titled 'Possible off-field issues?' and questioned if the star quarterback's relationship with Munn was behind Rodgers' recent struggles in a three-game losing streak.

The article stated: 'There’s no indication that Rodgers’ relationship status has changed. Lions reporters said they spotted Rodgers’ girlfriend, actress Olivia Munn, at Lambeau Field on Sunday.

Sometimes it's easy to forget that professional athletes have lives away from the field, and you never know what could be going on in their personal lives.'

Olivia took exception and shared her displeasure with her more than 715,000 followers on Twitter.

'Playing it fast & loose w/the journalism @RobDemovsky. Your professional skills are lacking... you must be having personal problems at home,' she tweeted.

The Newsroom star in another tweet also chided The Washington Post and Fox Sports for validating anonymous comments made about her by so-called Packers fans.

A Washington Post article on Wednesday about fans blaming Munn for the Packers' losing streak cited an anonymous anti-Munn comment posted on the Milwaukee-Wisconsin Journal Sentinel website.

Munn in her tweet said the 'fan' mentioned in the article 'is a bigot and a racist'.

'(Check my next Tweet for a link to his hate-filled comments. Also known as the least amount of journalistic research anyone could have done.)', the actress tweeted.

Munn and Rodgers started dating in May 2014.

The Packers (6-3) will play their division rivals the Minnesota Vikings (7-2) on Sunday in Minneapolis.
