Sharing an image showing a before and after picture of her hair, the former reality television star showed off the transformation.

The before image shows Alison with thin shoulder length locks, however after receiving the extensions her hair now falls well below her bust in thick luscious waves.

'So it's no secret all my life I have had thin baby hair...in fact when I was two years old I still had no hair and my mum used to sticky tape a little bow in the small amount I had just so I looked like a girl!' she penned to her followers underneath the picture.

'I secretly always wanted long thick beautiful hair but I honestly never thought it was possible until I met the amazing Naomi Beth Panizza and saw the work she does with beautiful Great Lengths hair.

'Complete transformation!' she wrote.

Taking to Instagram last month, Alison revealed her breasts were surgically enhanced following her appearance on the show in 2008.

Replying to one of numerous comments made about her healthy physique, in which she was asked if she received any 'help' in order to slim down, she wrote: 'No help, I did have breast augmentation, however, nothing else.

'My tummy, butt and top of legs are far from perfect a little bumpy and wobble more than I would like, however, I have been lucky to be honest. I also know how to stand for a photo!'

Managing to keep off the massive 55.2kg she lost on season three of The Biggest Loser, as well as an additional 10kg she lost after the show, Alison took to social media last month to share an inspiring selfie of her bikini body seven years on.

The bubbly blonde was clearly proud her achievement, taking to Facebook to boast: 'Never did I think I would ever take a pic of me in a bikini in Bali.'

In the heartening snap, the reality television star dons a multi-coloured two-piece, showing off her incredibly defined physique and womanly curves.

She grins from ear to ear as she stands in front of the mirror hotel room while on holiday in the tropical Indonesian paradise.

'I never wanted to come to Bali because at 122kg I never felt like I fitted in,' Alison confessed.

She added in reflection: 'I still can't believe just how much life I missed out on,' as she joined the reality show in a bid to be there for her children.

Undertaking a complete diet and exercise overhaul, the therapy coordinator has expressed that maintaining her physique does take a lot of hard work and commitment.

'When I wake up at 4.50am, my routine is turn off alarm, take Pre trainer [supplement], have shower [and] put on gym clothes... this is my clockwork routine everyday!' she shared on Facebook.

Despite her determination to get her heart rate up before the crack of dawn, Alison is adamant she'll never let her weight loss get out of control.

She explained: 'I can assure you there will be no skin and bones, I have hips and I have boobs and I love the way they sit in a pretty dress so I intend to keep them.'

A year after dazzling every one with her transformation, the mother-of-three was left heartbroken when she lost her husband Robert when he tragically committed suicide following a battle with depression.

Alison, who finished second in the same year as Sam Rouen, is now a single mother to Bethany, 15, Isabella, 11, and grown-up son Jaydon.
