GIRL ABOUT TOWN: Want to be a model? Grow up in a castle, says Edie Campbell

Posh model Edie Campbell, 25, thinks the success of celebrity ‘aristos’ is all down to spending their childhoods in drafty castles.

Writing in System magazine, Edie says: ‘There is no better preparation for a models’ apartment than growing up in a very damp and cold castle, sharing a bed with incontinent spaniels or being shipped off to boarding school aged four.’

He’s been known to show off his torso in public, so perhaps it’s no surprise Prince Harry is on a diet.

At David Beckham’s charity match at Old Trafford last week, the Prince turned down all offers of food, would drink only water, and when hunger pangs struck, asked his aide to make him a chocolate protein shake.

Perhaps he’s taken some advice from his diet queen aunt, the Duchess of York.
