The became embroiled in a bitter Twitter feud following Spencer Matthews' I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here departure.

And Made In Chelsea star Jamie Laing and Lauren Hutton's war of words is showing no signs of relenting as they continue to spar over his best pal and her ex-boyfriend, Spencer.

The 27-year-old stunner attempted to jibe Jamie with a sexy beach picture before he made a caustic remark about her age - despite the fact he is also 27.

The feud first kicked off on Friday after news surfaced that Spencer had been forced to leave the Australian jungle after only three days due to an addicition to steroids.

Lauren was quick to take to Twitter to sneer at the news and referenced Spencer's Lothario ways while Jamie hit out at the stunning model for being classless.

If fans thought things had simmered between the two they were sorely mistaken as Lauren returned to the microblogging site to tease Jamie with a sexy bikini shot as she enjoys a Hollywood holiday with pals.

She added the caption: 'What's going on at home... Too busy boating @JamieLaing_UK'

While the playful picture could have been seen as an olive branch, Jamie took things very differently as he bizarrely hit out at Lauren's age - which is the same as his own.

He replied to her tweet, writing: '@iamlaurenhutton stop flirting and trying to get with me, your 40'

Perhaps Lauren was trying to catch the eye of her nemesis as she posted a series of saucy shots from her Hollywood trip.

Not allowing her exercise regime to to be interrupted during the trip, Lauren uploaded a picture as she embarked on a hike up the famed Hollywood hills.

She added the caption: 'Hey what's happening Hollywood.'

In another snap she was seen pulling a yoga pose in a perilous position and wrote: 'Climb high, not so the world can see you but so you can see the world'

The duo's row comes as Spencer landed at Manchester airport after a long-haul flight from Australia on Sunday afternoon.

The 26-year-old reality TV star looked in good spirits as he emerged from the flight, despite the focus on his personal life and his drug-taking.

Earlier in the day, Spencer had revealed that leaving the popular programme had actually not been his choice - although it was previously thought he had quit, he hinted that he had been booted out by show producers.

During a Twitter conversation with fellow TV star Spencer Pratt, the Made In Chelsea star confessed: 'Leaving was obviously not my call! I would do absolutely anything to still be in there. Was loving it!'

Ex-girlfriend Lauren was the first one to dig into Spencer after his exit on Friday.

There was no love lost as he is said to have unceremoniously dumped amid cheating claims.

Not at all bitter about the split, Lauren wrote: 'Well that lasted long... Even your relationships last longer (just). I think I'd make a better contestant...'

She used an emoji of a dog to cryptically link her scathing tweet to her ex-boyfriend and the news that he was heading home from Australia prematurely.

Later, Jamie was straight on her tail saying: 'F*** off you leaching random' by replying directly to her tweet, in full view of their combined 1M followers.

She replied: 'Classy as always, love (emoji) to u & love (emoji) to Spencer (emoji)' before he referenced their split when he bit back 'The only thing you're class at is being dumped.'

Spencer, who's notorious for being unable to stay faithful to girlfriends, is said to have split up with Lauren after he went 'back to his old ways.'

She refused to acknowledge their split and claimed that they were still together until his representatives insisted that he was indeed single.

Meanwhile, Jamie and Spencer lay claim to one of the strongest bromances on the E4 reality show, who, despite their spats and girl problems, have always been in each other's corner.

Jamie went on to say on social media: 'I couldn't be more proud of @SpencerMatthews my pug. See you soon brother.'

Spencer unfortunately failed to reach the main camp to meet all his superstar campmates, after he was banished to Snake Rock in the days before he left the show.

An ITV spokesperson confirmed to MailOnline: 'Spencer Matthews has left the jungle. We're sorry to see him leave.'

Heading to the Bush Telegraph to chat about her new digs, Ferne said: 'Vicky and Spencer are cool... I think they might fancy each other. Just an observation!'
