The both hold records for being the highest ever scorers, but Brian Lara and Frank Lampard are not two sportsmen you would expect to see together too often.
But Chelsea's all-time leading goal-getter and the man with the highest ever individual score in Test cricket came face to face in New York on Thursday.
And the pair appeared to get on well, with Lampard saying of the West Indies legend: 'What a gent!'

Lara has been in the States playing in the Cricket All-Stars Series, in which some of the greatest ever ex-players have been playing in front of an American audience.
Shane Warne's Warriors beat Sachin Tendulkar's Blasters, which featured Lara, in all three of the matches, which were played in New York, Houston and Los Angeles.
Lampard, meanwhile, has been playing for New York City FC, for whom he has scored three times in his nine appearances.

The former England and Chelsea star, an avid cricket fan, is good friends with former England batsman Kevin Pietersen, and meeting another cricketing legend was obviously a great moment for him.
'Bumped into this all time cricket legend in NYC,' he wrote on Instgram. 'Remember him scoring 400 against England back in the day. What a gent!'
