Most parents dread taking babies on flights, worried about whether they will fuss and cry or annoy other passengers.

No such problem for Evan Ross and Ashlee Simpson Ross.

The couple chartered a private jet to take four-month-old Jagger to Las Vegas on Saturday.

Evan's mother, superstar singer Diana Ross, was due to take the stage at 8 pm that night at the Venetian Theatre at the Venetian Casino in Sin City.

The couple turned up at Van Nuys Airport in Van Nuys, California, with their tiny daughter, a lot of equipment for the baby and an entourage to help them out.

Ashlee, 31, was dressed in a strappy black top and a calf-length black skirt with lace applique.

He donned his favourite black hat and smiled at his wife of 16 months as she fussed over their daughter.

Missing from the fun was Ashlee's son Bronx Mowgli Wentz from her first marriage to Pete Wentz, which ended in 2011.

The lad, who celebrated his seventh birthday on Friday, was likely with his Fall Out Boy rocker dad.
