Former The Hills star Audrina Patridge is celebrating her engagement to her longterm boyfriend Corey Bohan.

The professional BMX dirt bike rider popped the question on Friday night, with Audrina sharing an account of the romantic proposal on her blog.

She said that Corey surprised her during dessert, after treating her to dinner at the Summit House in Orange County, California.

The 30-year-old wrote that Corey, her boyfriend since 2008, had previously asked her father's permission to marry her.

'Corey pulled it off pretty well. Although I noticed he didn't really eat dinner,' wrote Audrina of the big night.

'When dessert time came he ordered cheesecake and the waiter brought it out on a platter with a beautiful silver cover,' she continued. 

'I noticed all the waitresses gathering with phones and thought, What is going on! Then all of a sudden the waiter lifted the silver cover and I saw the ring in a box with white rose petals on the plate.'

And Audrina added: 'Then Corey dropped to his knee and said, "We have been together for many years now and I love you more than anything. 

'"I want to spend the rest of my life with you – will you marry me?" I was in shock and kind of didn't even hear him but I said yes!'

As fans of The Hills will remember, the reality star began dating Corey, 33, following her break up from bad boy ex Justin Brescia.

She previously dated Ryan Cabrera, Mark Sailing, and Chris Pine.
