Scarlett Johansson stars in a new commercial for the Dolce & Gabbana perfume The One and for an accompanying video, she reveals her likes and dislikes.

In the clip, revealed on People.com, the actress is seen sitting on a straight-backed wooden chair dressed in a low-cut black dress.

Her blonde hair is tied back from her face with just a couple of ringlet curls left loose and she sports a pendant necklace and drop earrings.

The short film takes its theme from the name of the scent and features Scarlett responding to questions that are asked inaudibly off camera but added as text to the video.

Each question asks the Avengers star to name 'one' thing.

It starts with: 'The one person you're most excited to see every day.'

'My daughter,' she replies with a big smile.

The Lost In Translation star, who turned 31 on Sunday, gave birth to Rose Dorothy in 2014. The little girl's dad is her second husband Frenchman Romain Dauriac, whom she wed on October 2014.

Rose was also the answer to the question: 'The one memory you will cherish forever.'

Scarlett said: 'Seeing my daughter for the first time.'

As for her husband, he is the one who makes her laugh all the time, and the moment she met him is the one moment she said she will never forget.

Other reveals include the fact that key lime pie is the one food she cannot live without and the one film she can watch over and over again is Aunty Mame.

And the one thing that drives her crazy is when someone steals her taxi cab, she said.

The actress, who was previously married to actor Ryan Reynolds, has been a face of Dolce & Gabbana since 2009 and also stars this fall in a short film for the brand with fellow 'face' Matthew McConaughey.

The black and white video for 'The One' was shot by director Martin Scorsese and is airing on TV screens through the end of the year.

She also stars in a series of print ads with McConaughey.
