But while all eyes were certainly on Eddie Redmayne at The Danish Girl premiere in Los Angeles on Saturday, his wife Hannah Bagshawe managed to steal the show in her role as supporting wife.

Joining the suited and booted Oscar-winner, 33, on the red carpet, the publicist put on a glamorous and chic display in a pink floral-print gown.

Stepping out at the premiere alongside star of the film and her husband of one year, Eddie, the London-born beauty oozed effortless style.

Opting for a strapless gown, which featured a pink floral pattern, the blonde beauty flashed a hint of cleavage while retaining an air of sophistication and glamour.

Wearing a matching pale pink belt to cinch in the floor-length gown's wait, the publicist was able to showcase her trim figure.

Accessorising her look with a simple glittering gold clutch, the star's wife left her look largely uncluttered.

Wearing her blonde locks in an off-centre parting, Hannah let her blonde mane fall down around her shoulders in slightly tousled waves. 

Opting for a natural pallet of make-up, she accentuated her striking natural features; highlighting her eyes with a flash of mascara and coating her lips in a pale pink lipstick.

The real life Lili was a Danish transgender woman who was born as Einar Magnus Andreas Wegener.

An artist, she stopped painting after her reassignment surgery, severing all ties to her former identity as Einar.

Born in 1882, Lili underwent four operations beginning in 1930. She passed away in 1931 three months after her final surgery.

The Danish Girl is based on the book by David Ebershoff, in turn inspired by real life events.

Due to hit cinemas in January, The Dnish Girl reunites Eddie with Les Miserables director Tom Hooper and sees the actor star alongside Alicia Vikander as Lili's wife Gertrude.
