'I feel so much happier now': Tara Palmer-Tomkinson looks back to her old self after spiritual break

After a short break away to deal with some 'issues' Tara Palmer-Tomkinson looked refreshed and rejuvenated, today.

The socialite had sparked fears recently that something was seriously wrong with her after she was accused of being 'drunk' and 'wasted' during a Radio 5 interview.

However, upon returning to the UK from her brief stint in Klosters, Switzerland, the 40-year-old appeared back to her old self and said she was feeling better.

She said on Twitter, today, in response to a well wisher: 'Thanks hon,I feel so much happier now.It was very spiritual n Im loving the new health regime.' (sic)

Tara was seen shopping on Chelsea's King's Road, today, and looked in good form as she laughed and smiled despite the poor weather.

The Television presenter was not dressed for the rain but still looked great in a pair of lavender trousers with nude colour heels and a white shirt.

The former 'it girl' accesorised with a light hat and a large designer handbag.

A few weeks ago fears arose when radio listeners reported that Tara sounded drunk on air after slurring her words, and even the presenter, Richard Bacon, had to ask her 'Are you alright?'

Although she said at the time that she had not been drinking, she later admitted she needed to seek help, but she has not embellished on the kind of help she received during her trip away.

Her spokeswoman told the Mail Online that the socialite had escaped to Switzerland but emphasized she did not go to rehab.

She said: 'Tara went to her home in Klosters for some rest and relaxation after a busy time in London. She did not got to rehab.'

Tara told one concerned follower: 'I was a bit nervous coming back to UK but i am feeling better.I got some good help xx.'
