They're rumoured to be getting to know each other after meeting through mutual friends.

And it looks like David Walliams burgeoning romance with Ashley James is going well after the pair were spotted dining together last weekend.

The comedian, 44, and model, 27, enjoyed a meal together - along with a few friends - at new London hotspot Sexy Fish.

Former Made In Chelsea star Ashley, who has a weekly radio station on Hoxton FM, dressed down in a pair of jeans, black top and leather jacket.

Meanwhile, father-of-one David looked rather dapper in a pair of black trousers, lilac shirt and blazer.

The couple were enjoying a meal out at the new Mayfair restaurant, which was opened in Berkeley Square last month.

Rather tellingly, Ashley tweeted on the same day as her meal with David: 'In a room full of art I'd still stare at you.' with a love heart emoji.

The pair's outing came the night before Ashley was heading off to Paris for a few days.

During her trip to Paris, she told her followers she had no intention of cancelling her visit, which came just a few days after the city's tragic terrorist attacks.

She tweeted: 'I've received lots of messages of concern about my stay in Paris. Life is going on as normal, people are living their lives, as am I.'

Ashley and David have been getting to know each other in recent weeks, with the Little Britain star rumoured to have invited her as his date to Jonathan Ross's annual Halloween party.

They've been taking things slowly after David's marriage to Dutch model Lara Stone - another buxom blonde - ended earlier this year.

‘It’s a slow-burner but David has made his feelings clear,’ a source told the Daily Mirror. ‘He recently sent her a bunch of white roses and a card signed "DW".

‘They hang out in a group with other people and she has been to his house with other friends.

'They are both very flirty and it’s clear there’s a huge attraction there but David is quite cautious about entering into another relationship.'

MailOnline has contacted representatives for both stars to comment.

David finalised his divorce from Dutch model Lara on September 10, citing her 'unreasonable behaviour' as the reason.

The former couple - have a two-year-old son, Alfred - began dating in September 2009 after David took her to a Chelsea football match - with the funnyman later filling her home with flowers.

Meanwhile, Ashley - who rose to fame on the E4 reality TV show back in 2012 - split up with former Xtra Factor presenter Matt Richardson in January.

She also famously dated MIC favourite Ollie Locke during her time on the popular series.
