Bath confident Kyle Eastmond will not return to league like Sam Burgess

CHRIS FOY'S GAINLINE: Bath insist Kyle Eastmond is not about to follow Sam Burgess and become their second rugby league convert to return to his former code this season. The 26-year-old centre was bitterly disappointed by his omission from England’s World Cup squad. And a big-money offer from Super League Warrington has tempted him to return to his former code. He was hugely impressive in Bath’s 19-16 Pool 5 win over Leinster in the European Champions Cup on Saturday and head coach Mike Ford remains confident the man he signed from St Helens in 2011 will extend his contract beyond the end of the season.
