Ola Jordan CONFIRMS she's quit Strictly Come Dancing after making sensational claims that the show is fixed... and she's set to 'strip off' for Playboy shoot

Ola Jordan has finally confirmed that she has quit Strictly Come Dancing.

The professional dancer, who has been with the show for 10 years and been a past winner of the BBC One talent competition, made the revelation ahead of Saturday night's Blackpool Tower special.

Ola posted a string of messages to her 259K Twitter followers the same day that The Sun printed her sensational claims that the show is fixed.

Quit: Ola Jordan confirmed that she had put an end to her time on Strictly Come Dancing with a string of Twitter messages on Saturday night

Putting an end speculation about her future on the show, Ola wrote: 'Hi tweeps.... So, yes it's true. I will be leaving Strictly at the end of this series.'

She seemed to deliberately avoid any mention of or thanks towards the show's producers after reportedly falling out with them over her husband James Jordan's unceremonious sacking in 2014.

Last Saturday, when contacted by MailOnline, BBC representatives said: 'As far is Strictly is concerned it would be unfair to speculate about any one individual as no decisions have yet been made about anyone for next year's line up.'

This week, given the opportunity shoot down the suggestion that it was Ola's decision to leave the show and not theirs, a BBC spokesperson did not deny the claims.

Ola added to the string of posts: 'I have had an amazing 10 years on the show, but things change and I feel it's time for me to move onto other things I love Strictly and have met some amazing people and made some great friends who I will miss massively I am so grateful to the show for what it has given me.

'I also want to thank all of you for your continuous support throughout the show. You will never know how much it means to me I love you all.'

The Tweets went out as the show celebrated its annual Blackpool Tower show - a 2-hour live special - for which she has travelled to the Lancashire seaside resort to take part in.

'I wanted to finally say how amazing all the pro dancers are,' she said referencing the long-serving dance partners. 'The show is a massive success is because you are all brilliant at what you do.

'Sometimes in life you have to take a step backwards in order to keep moving forwards. Lots of love Ola xxx'

Following the shock exit from the show, it has also been claimed that Ola is keen to move on from Strictly and has Playboy in her sights.

According to The Sunday People's Simon Boyle, the gorgeous blonde is going to strip off in a sexy shoot for the magazine, owned by Hugh Hefner.

A source told the paper that they're keen to get her on board as soon as possible, saying: 'Ola is absolutely stunning, and has a massive following in the UK so it's no surprise Playboy is be keen to get her.

'She looks fantastic on camera – and has a great personality and the sort of confidence it takes to really shine on a shoot – they know it's about much more than being beautiful but Ola has got what it takes.'

Ola - a former champion and the show's longest serving female star - will no doubt be contractually obliged to complete the series with her co-stars, despite being eliminated in the first week of 2015's show with dance partner Iwan Thomas.

The revelation follows a scathing interview with The Sun newspaper in which the professional said she believed judges rig the show in order to keep contestants they prefer in the competition, something show bosses have vehemently denied.

She said: 'People are over-marked and under-marked. In my opinion they know how many votes people scored in the previous weeks and then they try to influence their position on the leaderboard.

'If the show is not fair, it takes the fun out of it.'

Ola was no doubt hurt by the placement of sportsman Iwan in this year's competition and seemingly still reeling from the departure of long-serving star of the show and her own husband, James, last year.

A representative for Strictly Come Dancing said on Saturday: 'As far is Strictly is concerned it would be unfair to speculate about any one individual as no decisions have yet been made about anyone for next year's line up.'

Meanwhile, a spokeperson for the BBC later described Jordan's claims as 'nonsense,' adding: 'Any suggestion that the scores are 'fixed' is nonsense.

'Each judge scores each dance independently, based on its merits and in their expert opinion.'

Last weekend, it emerged that Ola had reportedly told a friend at BBC's Children In Need: 'It's time to leave. I quit.'

The Sun newspaper's source revealed: 'This has been on the cards a while. She's very loyal to James so when he was forced out it left a sour taste.'

The professional dancer was criticised for the racy nature of her 2016 calendar, which she was reportedly driven to by poor pay at the BBC, the newspaper's source claims.

Work offers are said to be lined up for the pretty blonde, despite sacked Strictly star James being out of mainstream work since his controversial appearance on Celebrity Big Brother 2014.
