They can be the most unflattering piece of clothing you will ever try but this style star pulled off the all-in-one look effortlessly.

Jaime King showed casual can be chic in Malibu, California, on Thursday night.

The 36-year-old wowed in a pair of overalls at the launch of BED|STÜ's new flagship store at the celeb shopping hot spot the Malibu Country Mart.

While overalls can be a very tough look to pull off let alone look good in, the Sin City star managed to find a very flattering pair that skimmed her slim torso and had a Seventies-inspire flared pant.

The actress then added a tight white turtle neck sweater underneath for warmth.

Clearly Jaime liked what she saw at the opening, as she quickly ditched her own shoes for a pair of BED|STÜ brown ankle boots.

Jaime King was spotted at the launch of BED|STÜ's new flagship store trying on the brand's Isla boots. King is no stranger in the fashion world so we're ready to take her cue on this eclectic style!

These boots have a gorgeous dark brown stain and boast exposed stitching for that truly rustic look. We also love the wrapped buckle and sturdy wood heel.

The star further accessorised her look with a classic black moto jacket and wore a big gold chain around her neck.

David looked very snappy in pair on dark trousers with a checked shirt and grey suit jacket complete with pocket square.

Brooke clearly has a magic touch as she managed to get her 43-year-old beau to try on some shoes - rather than just grabbing the first pair he sees like many men do.

The Baywatch star tried a number of different lace up shoes before settling on some boots.

Also attending the event was Ali Landry and her director husband Alejandro Gómez Monteverde.

The couple seemed in good spirits despite the horrific tragedy that the family has suffered when, in September, Alejandro's father and brother were kidnapped and murdered.

Earlier this month six men were arrested in connection to the murders which occurred in Tamaulipas, Mexico.

Last month the actress said she and her husband were determined to live every day like her father-in-law had and not be defined by the tragedy.

She wrote in an Instagram post in October: 'What we have realized is that this journey through grief and loss is a marathon, not a sprint, and the only way to get through it is by the grace of God.

'We are determined not to allow this event to define them or our lives. We want to remember the beauty, the innocence, and the light that they represented, and to continue their legacy and always put family first.'

Trying to move forward: Also attending the event was Ali Landry and her husband Alejandro Gómez Monteverde in ahat is believed to be their first public appearance since the director's father and brother were kidnapped and killed in Mexico
